Amore is Yuri Sabatini’s signature concert, bringing together the drama of opera, the romance of Italian song and much-loved music from musical theatre and classical crossover.

 

At its heart is the expressive power of the Italian tenor voice, in a programme of music that spans generations and traditions.

THE  ARTIST

​

Winner of the Royal Opera House BP Summer Screens Competition’s Best Male Singer award in 2008, Yuri performed before an audience of more than 10,000 in Trafalgar Square, London.

​

His engagements include the RAF Shawbury Proms, Holland America Line cruises, St Paul’s Actors’ Church in Covent Garden, Ferrari events at Silverstone and a concert for Devonshire Square, alongside performances at theatres, concert venues and events in the UK and internationally.

Its varied repertoire can appeal to established classical music lovers, musical theatre enthusiasts and those drawn to the romance and familiarity of Italian song. The result is a distinctive concert identity with the potential to reach beyond a traditional opera audience, without compromising the artistry of the performance.

PERFORMANCE FORMATS​

​

Amore  is available in two formats, according to the venue, budget and artistic setting.

 

Orchestra & Piano: a concert on a larger musical scale, with orchestral accompaniment bringing depth, colour and dramatic sweep. Suited to theatres, concert halls, festivals and gala events.

 

Piano: an intimate concert centred on Yuri’s voice and interpretation, suited to smaller theatres, arts centres, cultural venues and recital settings.

TECHNICAL & PRODUCTION

​

Professional PA, vocal microphone and basic stage lighting are required. The piano format requires a suitable acoustic or digital piano.

​

Technical requirements are supplied in advance.

DURATION

​

Available as a 60-minute concert or an extended programme of up to 90 minutes, with or without an interval.
